You will find several restaurants in Playa del Carmen, since the Mexican kitchen, Yucateca and International, Playa del Carmen is a little city with delicious cuisine; this description also applies to its restaurants.

Madre Tierra - For its seasoning and environment, this restaurant is one of the most recommended by locals and foreign customers. Madre Tierra has a decoration that combines styles minimalist and rustic.

Le Bistro - This place creates an intimate environment of relaxation; you can eat foods accompanied of select wines from different provenance. The people come to Le Bistro, order their foods, or simply eat fruits or cheeses and drink wine, and they remain for hours. Incomparable and different, with its own attractiveness, it is the only French bistro in Playa del Carmen, with small structure, but very casual.

El Tukan Maya - El Tukan Maya offers a varied breakfast buffet, delicious kitchen in a pleasant environment, exclusive International dishes and Mexican specialties, exotic drinks, and a collection of over 80 varieties of tequilas.

Ipanema 's Grill - Donato Guerra No. 25, about 4 blocks W of the Cathedral. The restaurant is housed in an old convent, with most of the seating in the covered courtyard. It is quite picuresque. The fare is traditional mexican, including standars like chicken in mole poblano, chiles en nogada, etc.
